Bread for Today
ROMANS 12:19
Do not take revenge, my friends,
but leave room for God’s wrath,
for it is written:
for it is written:
I have an acquaintance in the community who i seldom see. She and her hubby have been trying to conceive for more than 5 years. They married way before I did, and got to know them prior to my pregnancy.
Anyway, I saw her last Sunday carrying a baby. I was running after Baby J at the time, but I wanted to greet her. So when we passed her by , I asked if the baby she was carrying was hers. She replied in the negative. I should have left it at that. Instead, I opened my mouth and told her that I did not see her getting pregnant so I was really wondering if that was hers. Should have cut my tongue and/or zipped my mouth. And I told her that with my back at her because I was tailing Baby J. She made some excuses and left.
I knew I was beyond etiquette and I waited for her to return so I could properly apologize. When she did not, I asked people I know for her contact number, which I got the day after. I promptly texted her a lengthy apology and got a quizzical message back. She did not know what I was talking about! I called her and recounted the incident. She was gracious and told me that she did not take it into heart and no offense was taken.
Oh well, I guess my apology is for me as much as it is for her.
This is not mine. It is company-issued which I use for work and must return the same when I resign, a new laptop would be given to me, or it would be confiscated. This computer runs on a dual OS, but I usually use Windows since all my work are usually based on its program.
Ito ang aking lahok sa Litratong Pinoy.
This is my entry for Litratong Pinoy.
We usually frequent this landmark because my son loves the fountain. Whenever you ask him where he wants to go, he would say, “fountain!” and “playground!”

There are many notions of gold.
This is a hen who lays golden eggs. It was a popular story during my younger years. However, we usually refer such hens to things which could prosper one like business.
These buildings may be considered as gold to one’s country because it usually uplifts its economy.
There is also a saying that time is gold. It probably refers to the proper utilization of our time.
And to mothers who have infants, this diaper-changing room is a treasure to alleviate their discomfort.
But nothing would beat the gold in my life:
At ito ang aking mga lahok sa Litratong Pinoy.
And these are my entries to Litratong Pinoy.

This is my cherished silver. It was given as a birthday gift by my husband. I hope that its value would remain unchage so I can leave it to my descendant. This is my Silver for Litratong Pinoy.
We were running late this morning. After dropping off hubby, I drove our car. What a manic road full of crazy drivers! There were men-at-work signs in every street I passed.
Selfish bus and jeepney drivers were already expected at the corner of Buendia Ave. and Donada St. They would stop and wait for passengers while other cars were waiting to pass through. So, I was there waiting for about 3 minutes for an opportunity to turn right.
At the end of Donada lies Vito Cruz St. which used to be a one-way street, then changed into two-way when the new mayor assumed the post. But currently, due to repairs being done, it is a one-lane-but-two-way street.
Then I reached Adriatico and turned left toward Leveriza. To the best of my knowledge, it is a one-way street. But then, the pedicab drivers have no respect to one-way streets and they get angry at you for “obstructing” their way. Thus, while I was trying to avoid the pedicab in front me, the one at my rear was tapping the car and shouting, threatening and ordering me to move on.
Anyway, I was happy to reach San Andres St. And since there was no sign of NRTOR, turning right at Mabini would be easy. But this eff-ing cab cuing at the middle of the street went to the right lane and waited for the green light because it was not turning right! I could not pass through. Ugh! I am a zillion minutes late for work!
After what seemed to be two hours, I was finally at the parking lot and saw this:

Thank God, today is the last day of the week!
And that is why I support, albeit passively, a gunless society!
